Accommodations and Walkthru
Interior Layout:
Forward is the V-berth with a large hatch, opening port, fan, reading lights, and ample storage in lockers and cabinets. A deep anchor locker is accessed through the V-berth and holds two complete anchor rodes.
Just aft is the head to starboard, featuring a separate V-berth entry, marine toilet, sink, shower, teak towel holder, and mirror with storage above and below.
The salon includes an L-shaped starboard settee (converts to a double berth) and a long port settee. The folding bulkhead-mounted dining table serves both sides. There are five opening ports, a large hatch, and four reading lights.
Aft to port is a U-shaped galley with a double stainless steel sink, Force 10 2-burner stove/oven, Frigaboat refrigeration, dry storage, and plenty of lockers. Opposite the galley is a quarter berth/nav station combo with accordion privacy door and fold-up chart table.

Hull & Deck Construction and Equipment
The IP31 featured a solid glass hull with integral Full Foil Keel, bow sprit and a spade rudder. The Packets were beamy with flatter bottoms that gave them more Initial Stability and with more ballast laid in the "Full Keel" their Ultimate Stability was also higher Their decks are synthetically cored and their masts were Keel-Stepped.
