WAVES OF CHANGE is a very well maintained example of the popular Mainship 30 Express Cruiser. This is a perfect family boat or a cruiser easily handled by two and enjoyed for cruising, fishing or diving. Please call us for an overview of the work done this winter which will be completed in a month or so.     Overview

    UPGRADES & IMPROVMENTS: 

     

    December 2020 - April 2021: 

    • Replaced two windshield wiper motor.
    • Replaced engine start/stop Solenoid.
    • Re caulked inside Wheelhouse joints.
    • Replaced all outside (below surface) Anodes (NOTE - should be done every year).
    • Did regular maintenance on stuffing box.
    • Replaced the broken sea strainer basket on the main engine.
    • Repaired low oil engine shut down alarm ( oil pressure switch).
    • Replaced Battery #3.

     

    Spring 2021:

    • Replaced the other 2 batteries (all 3 are AGM batteries).
    • Replaced Water Pump.
    • Cleaned Heat Exchanger which was partially clogged.
    • Installed all new zincs (pencil zincs in engine, bow thruster, prop shaft, rudder, trim planes, and swim platform supports) the large zinc on the transom was not bad so did not replace.
    • Cleaned and waxed hull, and the outside of the wheelhouse and decking.
    • Installed second hand-hold bar coming up from below. 

     

    Spring 2022: 

    • Replaced stern light (to exceed height of radar).
    • Replaced all new zincs.
    • Recent Upgrades 2018-2020:
    • Installed new custom made cockpit side bench cushions.
    • Installed new secondary fuel filter element (on engine).
    • New Zincs on engine, bow thruster, prop shaft, rudder transom, trim planes and swim  platform supports.
    • New anchor alignment roller; when anchor is lifted into position, the anchor roller will keep the flukes straight and even.
    • Installed fiberglass screen runners for the cabin roof hatch.

     

    2016 Updates & Additions: 

    • Garmin 741' Chart Plotter.
    • 3 Group 27 Engine/House Batteries.
    • Installed New 30 Amp fitting for shore power cable.
    • Installed Lewmar V-700 windless. All new corresponding dash wiring and controls. New Lewmar Rode and Chain.
    • 2 New Solar Panels mounted to hardtop on the wheelhouse roof.
    • New Bomar 21 "x21" Hatch with screen.
    • All New LED Lights throughout the boat.

     

    2017 Updates: 

    • New 30"x9" SS Trim Tabs.
    • Installed New Bennett TT Actuators with dash-mounted Electronic Indicator Control Kit.
    • Soda Blasted Bottom. Applied 2 Coats Sea Hawk Epoxy Primer along with 2 coats of Pettit EOC Black Anti-fouling paint.
    • Engine Turbo Seized - Removed/Repaired cleaned and lubricated.
    • New DC Refrigerator.
    • Installed 3 dash mount DC Voltmeters.
    • Removed Swim Plateform and repaired fiberglass fractures. Repainted complete and Re-Non Skid top surface.
    • Refastened with SS bolts bedded with 3M5200.
    • Installed 4 New Radio Speakers.

     

    2018/2019 Updates:

    • Installed New Hot Water tank bypass hose and fittings for winterizing.
    • Installed a 2000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter
    • Resealed Galley Sink Drain.
    • Replaced Seat Cushions port and starboard in the wheelhouse.
    • Every Year Indoor Heated Storage.
    • Changed All Engine Pencil Zincs, Hull, Drive, and Thruster.
    • Changed Primary and Secondary fuel filters.
    • Engine Oil Changed.
    • Interior and Exterior detailed and cleaned every spring/fall.
