Dual console boats are designed for versatility, and the World Cat’s shallow draft and excellent seakeeping ability make her a great boat for both shallow-water exploring and offshore fishing. With doublewide helm seats with flip-up bolsters, cushioned bow seating and enclosed head/change room, the 296 DC can accommodate as many as 10 people.

Fishing features include a 30-gallon livewell abaft the port seat, 46-gallon fish box and bait prep center behind the captain’s seat, and under-gunnel rod storage. A center transom door provides access to the swim platform between the outboards. In a 2014 update, World Cat engineers elevated the space between the two sponsonsby deepening the hull resulting in performance gains.
