GENERAL DISCRIPTION

Looking to some some fishing and some weekend overnighting then the Sea Ray 290 Amberjack may be just what your looking for. She provides the best of both worlds in that she is an express cruiser that knows how to fish and this one really knows how to fish. Her aluminum arch which has been upgraded 10 rocket launchers, outriggers and gunnel rod holders all she needs is you.

Sea Ray has given careful thought to the cockpit area. It has an open layout and spacious seating with concealed storage, as well as the wide gunwales and generous freeboard desired for safe and successful sport fishing. The transom door opens to a full width swim platform make for easy boarding as well as getting that big one on board.

The spacious cabin provides a comfortable place to relax after a long day fishing or some family cruising.. Having done its duty as a dining area, the dinette converts to a double berth at night as well as an extra bunk for additional guests behind the companion way. The galley is well equipped to prepare a quick snack while under way or a quiet dinner. The countertop is one piece molded fiberglass with a built-in sink and cutting board. There is dual-voltage refrigerator for those things needed to be kept cold and a microwave and one burner gas stove for warming things up.

Just forward of the galley is located the head compartment. This features a VacuFlush toilet, mirrored vanity with sink and storage below, plus a shower with curtain. For easy cleaning this area is made of one piece molded fiberglass.

The spacious forward berth has storage for large, bulky items underneath, as well as shelf, lots of cabinet space and a mirrored rope locker. A privacy curtain may be drawn, and the screened deck hatch opens to provide natural light, fresh air and ventilation.
