The interior is designed for comfort, accommodating up to four people with a spacious cockpit, a well-equipped galley, and a head with good natural light. The boat's layout includes a V-berth, a settee, and a helm station with excellent visibility. The Cape Dory 28 is noted for its seakeeping abilities, making it suitable for both cruising and fishing, and it has a reputation for retaining its value over time.
