In a recent sea trial aboard, 40+ kts was achieved easily and smoothly. The boat tracked flatly and smoothly, with the 300 horse Yamaha astonishingly quiet and smooth. From 30 knots, a tight, quick, starboard turn resulted in the boat digging in and impressively pivoting 180 degrees in about 3x boat length, with no shuddering or sense of insecurity.
