The Monaro 24 EXP is a family boat, safe and comfortable, even in rough conditions. The 24, with its 8-foot beam, is trailerable - popular among fishermen and those who like to ride out the rougher weather. The cockpit of the 24 is custom-built, with the Alaska bulkhead to shield from the PNW's most damp days. The helm is to starboard, large bench seat aft of the helm along the starboard bulkhead with seating for 2. On the port side, there is a dinette with seating for 2. Large V birth with over 6' of sleeping space.  Standard features on the 24 include forward cabin with head, lighting, portlights and large, quality hatch. Access to the large chain locker is provided in the forward V-berth bulkhead. The 24 has a deep-V hull and a 20-degree deadrise. Built to high standards with consistent fiberglass layup and fully encapsulated stringers, all inboard wooden components subject to water or spray are fiberglass enclosed. All screws and joinery are sealed against water incursion. Custom-built boats by Monaro have affordable features not typically found in production boats. Monaro boats are fast, soft riding vessels built for temperate northern waters.
