CONSTRUCTION

Since 2012, the Sportsman Company has been building boats in Summerville, South Carolina. The hull for this 19' Island Reef model is one piece and gelcoated. The fiberglass layers are a combination of spray gun, composite core, and hand-laid fiberglass layers to provide stiffness and strength to the hull. The boat factory uses laser cutting machines for precise piecing. The stringer system is a molded fiberglass unit with similar coring and bonded to the hull. The one-piece deck assembly is fabricated similarly. White topsides and white bottom paint.

ENGINE

2017 Yamaha 115 HP 4-stroke outboard motor with under 200 hours. Mechanical steering, stainless steel wheel, aluminum 3-blade propeller.

Fuel: 28 gallons in one tank under platform with port deck fill.

LAYOUT

Seating capacity for 6 people. In the bow there are two lockers--the first is smaller for storage or the anchor, and the second is larger--both with drain plugs.

The center console is next with a cushioned seat with storage below. The helm has a Go-7 7" Simrad Display with through-hull transducer, 12v power plug, stainless steel wheel, engine gauges and control, master switch, and switches for lights, horn, and pump. Stainless steel cup holders, Plexiglass windshield with a stainless steel grab rail. Eight rod holders port and starboard and a small dry locker under the wheel.

Next is the cushioned leaning post for two with removable backrest, followed by aft cushioned seats port and starboard with deep storage lockers with drain plugs. The engine well with four rod holders and Yamaha are at center. The stainless steel swim ladder is on the port transom.

The platform and side decks are white with built-in nonskid. Stainless steel deck hardware consists of pull-up cleats and rod holders. There is a Bimini top with stainless steel frames over the console. This is a well-designed and clean boat, and a 2017 single-axle trailer is included.
