Bimini Top with Rear Support Arms

The Bimini top uses rear support arms rather than relying only on loose straps. Those rear arms make the

assembly more stable and provide a practical advantage when the canvas is folded and secured: the boat

can be operated with the Bimini folded/booted without the frame and canvas flopping around. The support

arrangement also keeps the folded top better controlled around the cockpit.

Storage & Service Access

For a 16-foot boat, the T16 provides a surprising amount of usable storage. The walk-through shows a large

in-floor compartment, storage beneath the seating and aft storage areas. The aft access also provides

straightforward entry to the bilge area and battery switch.

Condition Notes

The boat presents very well for its age and appears lightly used. The bottom was visibly clean during the

broker walk-through, and the Mercury propeller shows little visible evidence of impact or abuse. The principal

cosmetic item noted is several scratches in portions of the red exterior graphic/decal material. These appear

cosmetic rather than structural; a buyer who prefers a cleaner all-white appearance could consider removing

the affected red graphics. Buyers should perform their own mechanical inspection and sea trial.

Trailer

No trailer is included in the $15,900 asking price. This can suit a buyer planning to keep the boat at a marina

or storage facility. Redmond Boats & Yachts is obtaining current pricing for a new properly sized trailer,

available separately if needed.

Brokers Observations

This is the kind of boat that makes boating simple. At 16'5" the Tahoe T16 is manageable around the dock,

economical to operate and easy to store, while still providing bow seating, an aft sunpad, abundant storage,

swim platforms and room for up to six people. This example has the maximum-rated Mercury 75 FourStroke

plus several desirable upgrades: hydraulic steering, Garmin navigation, Humminbird sonar, dual transducers,

stereo and the Bimini with stabilizing rear support arms. For a buyer looking for an affordable Intracoastal,

river, lake or sandbar boat without the maintenance of a larger vessel, it deserves a close look.
