Description
“Lyon’s Pride” is hull 58 of Westport’s iconic hull bottom redesign, and the 63rd true 112 delivered over the previous 20 years. This is the second of two 112s built by a client who is accredited with evolving the brand and model’s design to the next level.
“Lyon’s Pride” is the first redesigned superstructure model fitted with the re-engineered “wake adaptive running gear” by Michigan Wheel. This greatly eliminates general prop cavitation, noise, and vibration.
“Lyon’s Pride” is the only 7700 series Westport hull built to 116 actual feet due to the addition of a molded-in aft hydraulic swim platform. This allows for easy water access and can also carry an additional tender or jet ski.
There are over $5.5m in upgrades by Westport on this build, setting her apart from previous sister ships. The exterior design enhancements are the most noticeable upgrades including more windows added in the hull and seating changes on the flybridge.
The custom interior was constructed in house by Westport. Black American Walnut cabinetry and furniture accent pieces give her a very high profile. Napa leathers, backlit capice shells, upgraded porcelain stone flooring with Fabrica carpet inserts are just a few of the custom interior details.
The hull side port windows were enlarged and add natural light and a feeling of openness in the lower staterooms. All baths are complete with stone work on the floors and in the showers.
“Lyon’s Pride” is hands down the nicest 112 raised pilothouse in Westport history.
NOTE: “Lyon’s Pride” has just underwent a complete electrical refit due to a lightning strike which occurred in Miami Beach late summer of 2023. The owner has done everything he is aware of to complete the repairs and replacement of nearly all vital onboard electrical and navigational equipment. The repair process was overseen at Westport shipyards Ft Lauderdale facility by employees of Westport to ensure thorough and correct mitigation was performed.
